 'What's Our Priority?'

Seems we are all fascinated with social networks.  As soon as some people wake up, they're checking their favorite social network.  During the day at work (even though they're not supposed to), they're checking it, and when they get home, they'll be on their computers for hours, even sacrificing sleep, fascinated by the lives of other people.

I believe the sales of tabloid newspapers have been significantly on the decline because people can real the real life tabloid stories that others have posted about their own lives.  And with all this attention to these social networks, there's just one question:  Have you been reading your Bible lately?  I'm not just talking about spiritual quotes other people have posted, but have you taken the time to spend time with God in His Word?

Our lives are more about the current status that is posted, but it's about a having a real relationship with God.  Believe it or not, you might just find out how fascinating God's Word is once you've taken the time to open and hear God speak to you.  If the first thing we look to do is see what's crackin' on the Internet, rather than 'cracking' open our Bibles, we will certainly be lacking.  It's not enough to catch a sermon on Sunday.  But why not establish a priority from now on to open up His Word to hear from Him...?

Peace,
